Florence Middle School Girls Basketball practice will start on August 13th from 3-4:30 at the elementary gym. We will also practice on the 14th and 15th that week. As the school year draws to a close, and summer break beckons, the students of Florence Elementary are proving that distance doesn't diminish our sense of community. This week, our school celebrated an unforgettable end-of-year event symbolizing the strength and interconnectedness of our school family.
The tree house event was a resounding success, bringing together students, and staff. It wasn’t just about marking the end of another academic year but celebrating the bonds we’ve built and will continue to nurture, even when we're apart.
As we head into summer, it’s important to remember that our connections don’t end with the school year. Whether through playdates, family gatherings, or community events, the spirit of the School District of Florence County will continue to thrive. We encourage everyone to stay in touch, share their summer adventures, and look forward to the exciting new experiences the next school year will bring.

Congratulations to Kamdan Johnson for her 1st place finishes in the 100 meter hurdles and the 300 meter hurdles (new school record of 47.40) last night in the Track & Field Sectionals. She will compete at the State track meet in LaCrosse on Friday, May 31 and Saturday, June 1
