HS Varsity Volleyball

Florence Volleyball Team

Growth. Volleyball 2021 was a year of growth. A very talented group of girls returned from a no fan COVID year. Without a senior on the team and some real, talented underclassmen this team got better every match. We started slowly in conference against a tough Laona/Wabeno. But returned with a strong showing in the Forest Park Tourney. We continued to grow and notch wins or mid to higher place tournament finishes. We were third in the conference and pulled the upset in the Regional semi-finals against Niagara. We fell in Regional Finals to Laona/Wabeno who were the eventual state runner-up. Northern Lakes Conference was no slouch in volleyball in 2021 with a talented Three Lakes squad also.

“It was awesome having fan support and with no one graduating to say I am looking forward to 2022, is an understatement”

Florence JV Volleyball

There are opportunities this summer for girls to learn the game of volleyball.  We will have five contact days, open gyms, and a volleyball camp that will instruct high school girls from the basics to more advanced levels of the game.

Any Ladycats interested in playing next season can contact Teresa Chrisman (Varsity coach), or Stephanie Tomczak (JV coach).
