A big congratulations to Carson Chrisman for finishing 94th out of 152 runners in the Division 3 boys' race at the State Cross Country Meet in Wisconsin Rapids this weekend! Carson completed the 5K course in 18 minutes and 24 seconds.

Congratulations also to fellow Northwoods Storm runner Jaxon Courts from Niagara, who finished 44th!

The Ladycats volleyball team won last night and will play Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran in Wabeno at 7:00 PM on Saturday, October 31st in the WIAA Sectional Final (game before state). $7.00 admission for all students and adults.

In recognition of National Bullying Prevention Month and Unity Day, our amazing 7th and 8th graders at Florence Middle School have been busy painting Kindness Rocks with uplifting messages and colorful designs. Over the next few days, students will be hiding these stones all around town in hopes of spreading joy, unity, and positivity throughout our community.

Northwoods Storm takes 3rd at Sectionals and will send two runners to State!

On Saturday, the Northwoods Storm competed in the WIAA Division 3 Sectionals Meet. Competing against 20 other teams, the Boys took 3rd.

Jaxon Courts of Niagara and Carson Chrisman will advance to STATE and will compete at the WIAA State Cross Country Championships in Wisconsin Rapids next Saturday

This week’s Student of the Week at Florence Middle & High School is Carson Chrisman, an 11th grader! Carson is kind, respectful, and consistently demonstrates a positive attitude. He leads with integrity and sets a great example for those around him. Carson is a positive role model for his peers and continues to show strong leadership qualities. The Northwoods Storm made a strong showing at last week's Northern Lakes Conference Cross Country Meet!

Three high school boys earned All-Conference honors by finishing in the top seven:

Jaxon Courts, Niagara sophomore - 2nd place
Zane Phillips, Niagara junior - 4th place
Carson Chrisman, Florence junior - 7th place

The boys tied for FIRST overall! The meet's tiebreaker rules put them in second place in the official standings.

Ina Holt, a Niagara senior, finished 3rd in the girls division, also earning All-Conference honors!

Corinne Lukach, a Florence 7th grader, placed 4th overall in the middle school girls division, earning conference recognition with her top-five finish!

We're proud of all our middle school runners for their hard work and determination.

Congratulations to all our runners on a great day representing the Northwoods Storm!

🌟 Student of the Week: Cody Williams🌟

Cody Williams is an 8th grader at Florence Middle & High School. He is a great student who is conscientious, respectful, and kind. Cody shows Bobcat Pride every day and continues to grow into a strong leader in his class.

Outside of the classroom, Cody stays busy playing middle school boys basketball and participating in both SAY soccer and club soccer.
