📚💚💛 A special day for our Florence 2nd graders! 💛💚📚

Our students had the opportunity to welcome author Carol Schultz into the classroom, where she shared her book and talked about her journey as a writer.

To make the visit even more memorable, each 2nd grader received their own copy of her book to take home! Experiences like this help spark a love of reading and show students the power of storytelling.

Thank you, Carol Schultz, for making such a meaningful impact on our students!

🎶💚💛 March is Music in Our Schools Month 💛💚🎶

Across the country, students are participating in school music programs, and here in Florence, we are proud to celebrate the impact music has on our students each and every day.

Music education is about much more than learning notes and rhythms. It supports academic growth, strengthens memory and focus, and helps students build confidence, creativity, and teamwork skills that carry into all areas of life.

At Florence School District, we are fortunate to have dedicated passionate educators like Bri and Robert Knox, who bring energy, talent, and dedication to our music program. Their work helps create meaningful opportunities for students to explore their interests, express themselves, and grow both academically and personally.

From performances to daily classroom experiences, our music program plays an important role in shaping a well-rounded education for our students.

Thank you to Bri and Robert Knox for the way you show up every day as passionate and dedicated educators. You make a real difference in students’ lives and are a true example of what it means to positively affect the lives of children.
