Florence Foodies Club By: Brendan & Ian J. The kids in the Florence Foodies Club have been having a lot of fun this quarter, and they think their club is awesome!  Caleb N., Aliza F., Chloe D., Connor C., Emmett P., Riley K., Dezi W., and Chloe B. are in the club this quarter.  During their club time, they make recipes and then eat food they create. When they are finished with their recipes, they get to play with  food toys together. So far they have made taco dip and smoothies.  They all really loved the taco dip. The ingredients they used are lettuce, tomato, cream cheese, and yogurt.  Some of the recipes they make need a microwave, and some do not.

Mrs King is in Paris doing the training she needs to be ready to take our students to England\Ireland and Scottland this summer. She visited Notre dame and the best coffee break ever!!

Congratulations to Lizzy LaChapelle for being select student of the week. Lizzy is the daughter of Meaghan LaChapelle of Florence and is a Senior at FHS. She is a member of TORPEDOES. Lizzy is a dedicated student who is always working hard to improve herself and her work. She is very creative and focused. Lizzy is determined to create her art with craftsmanship and will do something again & again to get it "right". She is a pleasant student to work with and a has positive presence in the classroom. Her work ethic in her assignments, projects and final works of art are impressive! After graduation, she will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison for Wild Life Ecology. #GoFloCats

TROOP Christmas Party By: Kyleigh On December 22 ,2021 the TROOP group, along with Mrs. H & Mr. Kangas, got together for a Christmas party! At the party, we each received a present that we went shopping for. Mr. Kangas made waffles that looked like Mickey Mouse, & we also had candy & milk. I like to see my friends when we have our parties . The TROOP group are friends that come from other schools!

Mrs. Wilcox By: Abby Mrs. Wilcox is the computer/library teacher. She loves her job and having a chance to see all the students in the school year after year, all through elementary! She has a husband and three kids whose names are Hannah, Kasey, and Brennan. Her teaching job has been going on for 15 years. Her favorite things about our school is the staff and getting to see all the students in the elementary school in the library and computer lab. She is very nice and welcoming. Mrs. Wilcox’s hobbies are camping, reading, crocheting, and watching races. She likes the colors pink and teal, she loves Tropical Sprite, her favorite snack is chocolate, she likes the Green Bay Packers, her favorite season is summer, she loves dogs, and her favorite books are Nicholas Sparks’ books. Mrs.Wilcox's favorite store is Target, her favorite restaurant is HuHot, she loves country music .

Congratulations to Kiera Sullivan & Patrick Milan, Florence's ASA Artists of the Month. Kiera & Patrick were honored with a luncheon @Contrast Coffee with other local student artists. The luncheon was followed by a portrait workshop with oil painter Steven Wysocki. #GoFloCats
