🌲 What an Incredible Outdoor Learning Experience! 🌲
In May our students took part in an unforgettable adventure at Trees For Tomorrow Environmental Education Center, where learning came to life beyond the classroom!
Throughout the trip, students:
🌙 Participated in a night hike, discovering the fascinating world of nocturnal wildlife.
🤝 Built teamwork and leadership skills through challenge course activities.
💧 Investigated the health of local lakes by testing water quality and studying aquatic macroinvertebrates.
🌿 Developed field science skills, learning tree identification, recognizing animal signs, and practicing scientific journaling.
🔥 Learned valuable outdoor survival skills.
🪵 Explored forest ecology and the important role trees play in our environment.
🐸 Compared ecosystems through a bog investigation, collecting scientific data and observing unique plant and animal life.
This hands-on experience allowed students to strengthen their understanding of ecology, environmental science, and conservation while creating memories that will last a lifetime.
A huge thank you to our teachers, chaperones, and the staff at Trees For Tomorrow for providing such an engaging and educational experience!
💚 Learning doesn't just happen in the classroom—it happens wherever curiosity takes us!
Attached are some pictures from the events, but you can click here for the full album.
