TROOP Christmas Party

On December 22 ,2021 the TROOP group, along with Mrs. H & Mr. Kangas, got together for a Christmas party! At the party, we each received a present that we went shopping for. Mr. Kangas made waffles that looked like Mickey Mouse, & we also had candy & milk. I like to see my friends when we have our parties . The TROOP group are friends that come from other schools!
Mrs. Wilcox

Mrs. Wilcox is the computer/library teacher. She loves her job and having a chance to see all the students in the school year after year, all through elementary! She has a husband and three kids whose names are Hannah, Kasey, and Brennan.
Her teaching job has been going on for 15 years. Her favorite things about our school is the staff and getting to see all the students in the elementary school in the library and computer lab. She is very nice and welcoming.
Mrs. Wilcox’s hobbies are camping, reading, crocheting, and watching races. She likes the colors pink and teal, she loves Tropical Sprite, her favorite snack is chocolate, she likes the Green Bay Packers, her favorite season is summer, she loves dogs, and her favorite books are Nicholas Sparks’ books. Mrs.Wilcox's favorite store is Target, her favorite restaurant is HuHot, she loves country music .

Congratulations to Kiera Sullivan & Patrick Milan, Florence's ASA Artists of the Month. Kiera & Patrick were honored with a luncheon @Contrast Coffee with other local student artists. The luncheon was followed by a portrait workshop with oil painter Steven Wysocki.

Congratulations to Audrey Selden for being selected student of the week! Audrey is the daughter of Chris and Ann Selden of Florence. She is a senior at FHS. Audrey participates in basketball, track, Hi-Q & Torpedoes. She is also a Historian for NHS. In the classroom, Audrey has maintained the highest level of academic rigor for classes offered. She is not intimidated by academic challenges of any kind. Audrey does a superb job of balancing her responsibilities both inside and outside of the classroom Upon graduation, Audrey plans on attending a 4-year university to pursue her career interests #GoFloCats

Congratulations to Madison Johnson who was recognized at the ASA luncheon on February 16th. Madison along with artists from other local schools were treated to lunch at the Chippewa Club followed by an artist workshop at Advanta Print. #GoFloCats
