Nicolet College recently visited FHS to host welding preliminaries with our students. The top two performers will advance to a regional welding competition at Nicolet College at the end of February, where they will compete against top students from other area high schools.
We’re proud of our students for showcasing their skills and representing FHS so well! 🔥⚙️

Mrs. Johnson’s and Mrs. Cassidy’s 8th grade social studies students have been hard at work studying economics and entrepreneurship. As part of this unit, the students were challenged with creating a business of their own. On Monday, December 22nd they were able to test out their business plans to learn the actual demand that existed for their products when they held their Market Day. Many businesses were highly successful and some even sold out. It was a great learning experience and a lot of fun.

Ms. Ellis’ classes had an inspiring day. Students explored the world of the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD) and learned about career paths in the visual arts with guest speaker Adeline Pumplun. From design to creative problem-solving, they got a firsthand look at how the visual arts can shape the future.
