Thomas Carlson, a Wildlife Biologist with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, was a guest speaker today in Language 7. 7th-grade students are writing a research-based policy paper on the Wolf Hunt in Wisconsin. Mr. Carlson came in to help explain how wolves are counted in Wisconsin and to discuss issues surrounding the recent designation of the wolf as a protected species.

Florence Wrestler Caitlyn Kelley has stepped in for Stephen Mason Jr. by volunteering to coach him for his state competition. Not only is she coaching Mason, but she is going to Madison to be by his side. She is working on getting her coach card so she can coach him and be mat side. Caitlyn, a 2-time state winner, is helping him work toward his dream of being a state champion. Good Luck to you both! BOBCAT PROUD!!
