The Florence SkillsUSA Students competed at the District Competition at Antigo High School. Students competed in Job Interview, Related Technical Math, Technical Drafting and Team Engineering Challenge. The middle school Team Engineering students; Chloe, Ana, Julia placed 3rd overall with their bridge model. Second place was earned by Lucy in Related Technical Math and Logan in Technical Drafting. Congratulations to our Football Team and Coaching Staff on winning the 2023 8-Player State Football championship. It was an exciting game, a tremendous victory and one that will be remembered for a very long time.
Also, congratulations to our School District Staff, our students, the Florence County School Board our fans and the community on the great outpouring of support both at the game and at the homecoming celebration. It is great to see the community rally around our kids and support them as you do.

Bag Policy: Lincoln High School is instituting a Clear Bag Policy for our outdoor athletic events for all spectators. The only bags that will be allowed to be bought into these sporting events will be clear. If you get to the gate and have a bag that is not clear, you will be asked to return to your vehicle to store it. This policy is about both safety and improving the overall fan experience at these events. This policy provides us with greater visibility for items being bought into these venues, especially during evening events. The clear bags will enable administration and security to discreetly scan bags as our fans move through the ticket gates. Clear bags allow staff and security to be more efficient and effective in viewing items entering the stadium.

Martina hails from the beautiful region of Lombardia, Italy, where her proud parents, Francesca Mastromatteo and Mirko Perelli, reside. In the heartwarming tradition of cultural exchange, Martina is currentlyhosted by her host parents, Michael and Katie Ouradnik, from Florence, WI
Martina is a senior at Florence High School, and she's leaving her mark on the campus. When she's not hitting the books, Martina shines as a Florence Bobcat Cheerleader, bringing a burst of energy to the team and the entire school.
Beyond her cheerleading skills, Martina showcases her artistic flair through her passion for playing the guitar and ukulele. She adds a melodious touch to her life that resonates with everyone she meets.
Martina's adventures extend to the world of horseback riding, where she shares a special bond with these majestic creatures. What truly sets Martina apart is her dedication and vivacious spirit. 4K is learning about community helpers!! Thank you to Florence County Deputy Don Behrendt for volunteering his off duty time to meet with the students, talk with them about how our Deputies help our community & showing them his squad car!! The sirens were our favorite!!

Congratulations to the Florence Bobcat Football Team for advancing to the 8 Man Football State Semifinals! They will be facing Oakfield on Friday, Nov. 3rd at 7:00 pm at the Waupaca High School Football Field. To alleviate long lines at the gate, they have asked us to pre-sell tickets. Tickets will also be available at the gate. Presale tickets will be available in the MS/HS office on Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30 am - 3:00 pm. Mr. Bomberg will also be selling tickets in the main hallway of MS/HS building on Tuesday from 3:00 - 6:00 pm. Ticket prices are $7.00 per ticket, $1.00 for kids 5 years of age and under. Please make any checks payable to Florence County School District.
