Congratulations Naomi Millan on being voted FHS's Artist of the Month for December. Naomi was treated to lunch at the Chippewa Club with the student winners from the 7 other area schools in the Association of Student Artists. After lunch, she learned the art of macrame during a workshop facilitated by local artist, Holly Fox. Way to go, Naomi! #GoFloCats

Ella DeRoche, is a freshman at Florence High School and daughter of Jessica & Daniel Heim of Florence. She is making waves both in and out of the classroom. Ella's commitment to academic excellence and her active participation in various extracurricular activities truly set her apart.
Ella is not just a diligent student; she's an upbeat and positive influence in the classroom. Always armed with a smile, Ella approaches her studies with a mature thoughtfulness that is beyond her years. Her dedication to being prepared for class and consistently putting in extra effort has not gone unnoticed by her peers and teachers alike.
Ella's involvement extends beyond the classroom walls. She is a proud member of the Student Council, where her leadership skills and positive attitude shine. Additionally, she's part of the Torpedos, showcasing her commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
🎶 Ella's passion for music is evident through her participation in the school band and pep band. Her musical talents add a unique flair to the school's vibrant atmosphere, contributing to the spirit of unity and camaraderie.
⚾ On the field, Ella is a force to be reckoned with as a member of the softball team. Her sportsmanship and team spirit make her not only an asset to the team but a source of inspiration for her peers.
