Florence students had an amazing presentation from Haddie McLean, Outreach Program Manager with the UW-Physics Department, who brought the *Wonders of Physics* traveling show to our school! 🌟 Not only did we get to experience incredible science demonstrations, but Haddie also generously donated a fog machine and an “All About Air” activity kit! 🎉 Thank you for your support and for inspiring our students with the wonders of physics! 🔬✨ #STEM #WondersOfPhysics #ThankYou #GoFloCats

FHS Spanish classes celebrated and learned about Dia de Muertos during the month of November. This is a holiday to celebrate, honor and remember our loved ones who have passed away. This is a colorful and joyful celebration and is often misunderstood in the United States. Spanish I and II decorated sugar skulls (calaveras de azucar) and skeletons (calacas).

To wrap up our nursery rhymes unit, Florence Kindergartners & their families created awesome designs to protect Humpty from his great fall! It was a fun &creative activity that brought families together to bring this classic rhyme to life! #HumptyDumpty #GoFloCats
