πβ¨ Mrs Baciak's 4th Grade Class participated in The Classmate Scavenger Hunt Adventure! β¨π ππ΅οΈββοΈ Imagine the excitement and buzz in the library as the students embarked on a thrilling journey of discovery with the Classmate Scavenger Hunt! π΅οΈββοΈπ π« In the spirit of building strong bonds and creating a vibrant learning environment, Mrs. Mendina came up with a brilliant idea to help her students get to know each other better. She introduced the Classmate Scavenger Hunt - a fantastic icebreaker activity that would engage every student and encourage them to mingle with classmates they might not have spoken to before. 𧩠The rules were simple: each student had just 5 minutes to move around the room, engaging in conversations with their peers, in order to find a different classmate for each category presented. Categories ranged from "Who has flown on an airplane before?" and "Who has brown eyes?" to "Who has been on TV?" and many more. It was an interactive puzzle waiting to be solved! πΊοΈ As the hunt began, the classroom was filled with laughter, whispers, and exclamations of surprise as students uncovered unexpected facts about their fellow classmates. Shy smiles transformed into enthusiastic conversations, and soon, no corner of the room was left untouched. π€ What made the Classmate Scavenger Hunt even more special was that it encouraged students to connect with everyone in the class, not just their close friends. It broke down barriers, nurtured empathy, and fostered a sense of belonging among the students. π Mrs. Mendina beamed with pride as she observed her students enthusiastically participating in the activity. "This is what education is all about," she thought, "building connections, fostering friendships, and celebrating each other's uniqueness." πΈ The Classmate Scavenger Hunt also provided a wonderful opportunity for students to celebrate their diverse backgrounds and experiences, fostering an atmosphere of inclusivity and appreciation for one another. ππ In just a few short minutes, these young explorers embarked on a journey of self-discovery, learning, and connection. The Classmate Scavenger Hunt proved that sometimes, all it takes is a fun, interactive activity to bring us closer together. #GoFloCats

πΏ Fresh from the School Garden: Delicious Tomatoes by Ms. Jeanne! πΏπ
We're thrilled to share the bountiful harvest from our very own school garden! Thanks to the hard work and green thumbs of Ms. Jeanne and her dedicated team, we're enjoying some mouthwatering, homegrown tomatoes. ππ±
Today, these vibrant tomatoes made their way to the elementary school cafeteria and were served as a "try-it" special for lunch. π½οΈπ
It's not just about the incredible taste; it's also about teaching our young ones the importance of locally sourced, fresh produce.
From garden to plate, this experience helps our students connect with nature and appreciate the journey of their food. ππΏ Plus, it's a fantastic way to encourage healthy eating habits early on! π₯π©βπΎ
Huge thanks to Ms. Jeanne and the team for cultivating this delicious goodness. π Let's savor these tomatoes together and celebrate the joys of growing our own food. ππ¨βπΎπ©βπΎ
