It was the final run at Florence Schools for an amazing and dedicated bus driver - John Zoppetti 💚💛. He was greeted with cheers, and hugs, from Florence staff and students. He of course had words of encouragement and praise for all staff, and also enjoyed the last day traditional elementary school sendoff 😊. Thank you John Zoppetti for the 40 years of positively affecting the lives of the student and staff at The School District of Florence County.

Florence Elementary's Play 60 team recently completed a Leap to Lambeau challenge, a series of healthy eating and physical fitness activities. The team qualified for a zoom visit with AJ Dillon and was also chosen as one of 23 schools from around Wisconsin to spend the day at Lambeau field.
On May 18th, students spent the morning on a scavenger hunt through the Green Bay Packer Hall of Fame. The afternoon consisted of football skills and drills stations on Titletown field with current/former Packer players Ty Summers and Jared Abbrederis.

Congrats to our 6th grade students on their D.A.R.E graduation. Thank you to Dan Miller & Nick Baumgartner for inspiring our students . A very special thank you to Teresa Chrisman for all you do this year & every year to positively affect the lives of our students.

Florence Elementary held a 4K PACT activity for parents and students. 4K teacher, Mrs. Wolf read the students a story about colors, and the students were able to paint an umbrella with watercolors! PACT activities are a great way to prepare students for school, and for parents to meet one another. UW Extension and the Florence Elementary PTO were also represented to provide parents with resources.
