Lab Cats Fab Lab club students started their 3D printer adventures by doing some lessons to learn how to use Tinkercad to design 3D models and then went through a step-by-step tutorial to create a keychain!

Florence Elementary Lab Cats club members Riley Kuzmic and Jaden LaBlanc created these awesome signs as their final projects using the Glowforge laser engraver in the elementary schools maker space! Way to go!!!

Jasmine Smith and Jamas Hawkins were the lucky pumpkin winners for the week 3 pumpkin giveaway! We would like to thank Mr. John Zoppetti for his generosity in donating pumpkins for these weekly giveaways! The students loved it! 🎃

Mrs. Schimmelpfenning is our Elementary Principal and Director of Special Education. She has been a bobcat for 12 years. She enjoys traveling, reading and crafting.

Mr. John Zoppetti has donated a pumpkin to a lucky FES student who has the closest guess to his weekly question. Emma VanDenHeuvel won this week guessing the number of eggs that John’s wife Ilene has collected over the past 33 years. Thank you, Mr. Zoppetti!

Ms. Kayla Sorenson has been with the School District of Florence County for 6 years but this year she has accepted a new position as our MS/HS Special Ed Teacher. Ms. S enjoys reading, boating and camping and she is a cat mom. Help up welcome Ms. S!!

Florence Elementary = Kids Heart Challenge is here! We are having fun in PE classes this week celebrating the American Heart Association through Nature Walks.
Please return all donations by Friday, October 28th. Now is a great time to make one last call for donations so you can get them in on time.
