Mrs. Cook has been a teacher at FES for 28 years. She teaches 6th grade Language Arts. She loves her family & friends, everything fall, walking, reading, the Packers, Badgers & Spartans. Thank you Mrs. Cook for all you do to positively affect the lives of our students & staff.


Mr. Perry is a 5th grade teacher at FES, he loves being active and enjoys sports. Mr. Perry has coached many young athletes over the past 20 years. and is entering his 5th season coaching our Ladycats basketball team. Thank you Mr. Perry!

Florence 6th grade had their first experience with Academic Career Planning using a program called Xello. They explored interests and learned about decision-making with Mrs. Feuerhammer our school guidance counselor.

Throughout the school year, 5K students learn and practice to to hold and use a computer mouse to move, click, select, drag, and drop through a variety of activities during their weekly computer lab time.

Governor Evers and Secretary Amundson visited The School District of Florence County. The Governor and secretary got a tour of the school, visit classrooms and talk to students.

When Kevyn Lenehan, FES 6th grader had the opportunity to design& create a sign using the Cricut vinyl cutter, he asked if he could make an original character that he drew and named Siat. He did an awesome job and we are very proud of his creativity and hard work!
